Country Club Towers, William Matthews, 2016

We worked with artist William Matthews to create two original works of art for the Country Club Towers located in Denver, CO. Matthews is a Colorado-based artist who is best known for his depictions of the American West and primarily works in watercolor.
This project consists of two works. The first is a 12’ tapestry entitled Bronco’s Revenge that transforms Matthews’ original watercolor painting into a stunning woven textile. The second is a polyptych of nine watercolor paintings, on rough handmade paper that comes together to create the work entitled A Tight Grip. Both works beautifully capture the spirit of the American West.
